I work in tourism in Rovaniemi, Lapland, and build websites, games and tools on the side. This is where I keep the things I make and the things I like.
These days I work in reservations and guest service at the Arctic TreeHouse Hotel, from September to March, and I am studying hospitality management and tourism at Lapland UAS.
AI tools help me get ideas working faster. I am using them, along with my rusty software engineering skills, to finish more of the things I want to make.

Off the clock
I make beats, or I used to, and every now and then a full track with someone when the chance comes up. After the music are the games I am playing at the moment, and the ones I have put real hours into over the years.

BackgroundI changed careers from web development to tourism many moons ago, and tourism is what I do now. I have worked in hotel reception and reservations, in guest service, and one summer on the tourist information desk in Helsinki.
I kept building things on the side that whole time, but I finish a lot more of them now than I used to. The AI tools are part of it. They take most of the slow and boring work out of getting from an idea to something that actually runs. The bigger part is that I am more motivated than I was a few years ago, and I have a clearer idea of what I want to make and why.
Languages: Arabic is my mother tongue. I also speak English and French, and I am learning Finnish.

This is not really a hire me page. I already have a full time job and a degree keeping me busy. But I am always interested in hearing about new things, whether it is an idea you want built or something you are working on yourself. Email is the quickest way to reach me.
